US to provide soybean oil

ISLAMABAD, Oct 20: United States Ambassador Wendy Chamberlin and secretary of the Economic Affairs Division, Ministry of Finance, Nawid Ahsan, on Saturday signed an agreement under which the US would provide 60,000 tons of soybean oil, valued at more than $30 million, to Pakistan.

A press release issued here said that the oil is scheduled to begin arriving in January.
