PCB chief to inaugurate KCCA event

KARACHI, June 20: The KCCA Secretary Prof Siraj-ul-Islam Bukhari has said that the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) Chairman Dr Nasim Ashraf will be the chief guest to inaugurate the second phase of KCCA’s annual Talent Hunt Programme, U-17 Inter-zonal tournament that starts on Friday.

Zone-V will lock horns with Zone-II Greens in the opening match of the tournament at the PCB Academy Ground.

As many as 17 representative teams of seven zones will compete in the event, two from each zone except three teams from Zone-II, Zone-V and one team from the Lasbela District, which will be divided into four groups.

Top two teams from each group will qualify for the quarter-finals.—Agencies
