NAWABSHAH, June 20: The Sindh health secretary has transferred a medical officer of Nawabshah Medical College Hospital on charges of misbehaviour and misconduct with nursing staff.

The medical superintendent of NMC Hospital was on Tuesday directed to relieve Dr Hashim Larikh, who worked in the hospital’s neurosurgery ward, and ask him to report at the health department.

Nurses working in the neurosurgery ward of the hospital had been protesting for a couple of days against the doctor’s alleged misbehaviour.
