KARACHI, May 31: Major (retd) Aftab Lodhi, who was working as additional secretary, has been promoted to special secretary in the Sindh Governor’s secretariat with immediate effect, says a notification of the Sindh government.

He was already officiating as special secretary since Javed Hanif was transferred to the city government as DCO. Maj Lodhi was inducted into the staff of the Governor’s House on two years’ contract a decade ago. Later he was absorbed in the provincial secretariat services.
