KARACHI, May 19: Four ships carrying containers and crude oil are due to arrive at the outer anchorage during the next two days, according to KPT sources. Berthing activity at the wharves was modest where four ships, Oel Victory, Calvin P. Titus to unload and load containers, Malak-1 to load general cargo and C. Glaxy to offload rock phosphate were berthed after the departure of five.
The ships, which departed included Conti Esperance, Iran Sattari, Malak-1, Pontonikis and Corin Thaikos, while Sea Glory, Calvin P. Titus, Antares-G, Bolan, Oel Victory, Bunga Delima, Soon Fu and Wan Hai-311 are due to sail out on Sunday.
Cargo handling activity at the wharves was relatively slow where a total tonnage of 58,668 tons comprising 18,577 tons of export cargo including 5,045 tons of cement and 40,091 tons of import tonnage.
The following ships are due on Sunday and Monday: Bama Bhum, Cosco Lian Yung Gang and Mol Admiration with containers and Lalazar with crude oil.
