LAHORE, April 20: Competitions in volleyball, table tennis, basketball and athletics were held as part of the Punjab University Sports Festival at the new campus on Friday.

Faculty of Sciences won the volleyball event beating Faculty of Arts in the final.

Faculty of Life Sciences beat Faculty of Green Sciences to win the table tennis championship.

Faculty of Life Sciences also won basketball event beating Faculty of Green Sciences.

Following are the results of athletics:

100m : Nabeel Iqbal, Shagufta, Asia.

200m: Shumaila, Nabeela, Farzana.

400m: Shumaila, Nabeela, Rahet.

800m: Shumaila, Farzana, Asia.

100m hurdles: Farzana, Shumaila, Nabeela Iqbal.

Long jump: Sehrish, Shumaila, Shaheena.

High-jump: Shmaila, Sehrish, Asia.

Discus throw: Iffat Bano, Shakeela, Sehrish.

Shot put: Iffat Bano, Shakeela, Farzana.
