LARKANA, March 20: A complaint was lodged in the court of Civil Judge and Judicial Magistrate-I Ratodero on Tuesday against the DPO of Larkana, TPO of Ratodero and three SHOs by a peasant Mohammad Ramzan Bhutto for allegedly committing robbery and putting to torch his and two others houses on 14 March during a pseudo operation launched by the police against the bandits.
Residing in Burira village, the complainant alleged that the DPO along with the TPO Mohammad Ramzan, three SHOs — Abdul Ghani Jeho, Asad Nabi Khichi and Fida Hussain Leghari broke into the houses belonging to him, Mohammad Punhal Buriro and Khan Mohammad Buriro.
They not only took away household goods and gold ornaments but, on the instructions of the DPO also burnt our houses.
He said that the SHO of the concerned police station had refused to register FIR, as he was involved in the case. Therefore, he (the complainant) has moved the court to seek justice under section 17/3 (offence against property), 436, 342, 382 and 425 PPC.
FREED: The Darakhshan police (Karachi) on Tuesday released Ghulam Mustafa Solangi, Zohaib and Munir Mirani while two others viz; Yasir Solanig and Adnan Solangi, are still the police. Police had on Friday picked five students, including Ghulam Mustafa Solangi , Yasir Solangi, Zohaib Solangi, Adnan Solangi and Munnawar Mirani from Yasir Coaching Centre in Sameeabad locality and took them to Karachi.
They were arrested in connection with two FIRS’--- 71/2007 and 72/2007 lodged under section 302 with that police station.
Father of Ghulam Mustafa, Akhtar Solangi said that his son along with Zohaib Solangi and Munir Mirani reached home (Larkana) safely.
However, two others were still with the police, he said and claimed that they were not involved in any crime but were just arrested in place of Ghulam Asghar and Anwar Solangi who had actually been nominated in the FIR. He said the three were released after his brother Abdul Rehman and other relatives contacted the police in Karachi.
