LAHORE, March 12: The City District Government of Lahore has disallowed the Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) to hold a public meeting at Mochi Gate ground. The party was told that under the Home Department instructions, any political activity in the open could be organised only at Minar-i-Pakistan grounds.

The PPP wants to hold a public meeting on March 23 and has accordingly applied with the city government for permission for the event. —Staff Reporter
