LANDI KOTAL, March 11: A man was killed and another person was injured when someone opened fire in Bara Bazaar on Sunday. The cause of the incident was said to be an old enmity.

The deceased was identified as Sher Alam, a resident of Sheikhan.

The injured person — an Afghan refugee — was taken to a local hospital.

The administration registered a case against the assailant.
