TAXILA, Feb 21: The Punjab Jamaat-i-Islami naib amir, Dr Muhammad Kamal, has said policies of the present government are creating unrest among the masses.
Talking to newsmen here on Thursday, he condemned the government decision to induct army officer in anti-terrorism courts.
He said that it was an attempt to establish parallel judiciary system which would pollute the existing judicial set up. The supreme court should take suo motu notice of the situation, he said.
The JI, he warned, would not tolerate any deal on the Kashmir issue, adding the JI would continue its struggle for safeguarding country’s sovereignty and integrity.
He deplored curbs on religious seminaries and detention of Qazi Hussain Ahmed terming it a serious violation of the fundamental rights.
