ISLAMABAD, Feb 21: The Vice Premier of State Council of the Peoples Republic of China, Mr Wu Banggno, will shortly visit Pakistan on mutually agreed dates to review progress on the ongoing Chinese projects to ensure their early completion, especially the Gwadar Sea Port Project.
This was stated by the outgoing Chinese Ambassador Lu Shu Lin during his farewell call on Finance Minister Shaukat Aziz here this evening.
The two sides expressed satisfaction over the Chinese participation in construction of ports, railways, telecommunications, communications and energy sectors.
China has invested in Pakistan, especially in assembling of rickshaws, electronic goods and down stream oil product. It was stated that Beijing would further increase the present level of investment in the country.
