KARACHI, Feb 9: The commercial, cultural and recreational activities being held in quick succession in Karachi are a sure sign the law and order situation in the city has improved. Entrepreneurs from all over the world are visiting Karachi and investment in the megapolis is increasing which augurs well for the national economy

Home Advisor to the chief minister Waseem Akhtar made these remarks after inaugurating the seven-day Bhambore Shopping Festival.

He said Karachi was a barometer of how the country was prospering.

The development activities in progress in Karachi are a sign of the improving image of Pakistan in the world.
