Police recover papers from collapsed house

NOWSHERA, Jan 16: Police have recovered documents and other material from the house of Maulvi Masoodulah which was rocked by the bomb blast on Sunday night killing four people.

Police after finding some documents, a wireless set, three 9-volts batteries, video cassettes and a telephone diary took into custody the owner of the house in the Jallozai Afghan refugee camp and further intensified their probe.

Investigators believe the house was either used as a training facility for militants or they were making a plan to sabotage national interests when explosion took place.

They say Maulvi Masood had come to Pakistan and was staying in Jallozai for the last nine years before putting up in Kohat, and at other places. He is a member of the Lashkar-i-Taiba and Jamaat-ud-Dawa and had fought alongside the Taliban militia of Afghanistan.
