ISLAMABAD, Jan 8: The Central Board of Revenue (CBR) has transferred and posted 17 collectors of customs and sales tax. Among the postings the CBR also elevated five officers of customs group of BPS-19 to the position of collector in BPS- 20.

According to the notifications issued on Monday, Khalid Nasim has been transferred and posted as director, directorate of Training, Research (customs, ST and FE), Islamabad; Javed Kazi, collector of customs, Sambrial, Sialkot; Muhammad Nasirudin Mahboob, collector Regional Tax Office (RTO), Rawalpindi-- he will also look after the work of collector of sales tax Rawalpindi; Sohail Afzal, collector enforcement, LTU, Lahore; Muhammad Ashraf Khan, collector of customs, Rawalpindi; Khawaja Tanveer Ahmad, project director, customs administrative reforms (Care), Karachi; Rashid Ahmad, chief customs, CBR, Islamabad; Khalid Mahmood-II, chief customs, CBR, Islamabad; Aijaz Ali Jafri, collector, customs, ST and FE, Hyderabad; Ali Salman Abbasi, collector of customs, Lahore; Javed Iqbal Mirza, collector customs, ST and FE (Appeals), Multan; Muhammad Azhar Iftikhar, director, directorate of Training and Research (custom, ST and FE), Lahore; Abdur Rashid Bajwa, collector RTO Peshawar; Rukhsana Yasmin, collector sales tax and federal excise, Lahore; Shafqat Mahmood, collector (enforcement), collectorate of sales tax and federal excise, Karachi; Pervez Sultan, collector sales tax and federal excise Faisalabad and Khawar Farid Maneka, collector (Audit), RTO, Rawalpindi.
