FAISALABAD, Dec 20: Four under-trail prisoners escaped from police custody on Wednesday. The police brought Ali Sher, Asif, Arif and Khalid to a local court for hearing in two cases registered at Factory Area police station. They asked constables Ali Husain and Khalid Shabbir to bring them some eatables. They managed their escape when the constables reportedly left them.

The Jinnah Town police claimed that they had nabbed one of the absconders, Ali Sher. They said efforts were being made to arrest the others. — Correspondent
