PESHAWAR: CS says govt to improve performance

PESHAWAR, Dec 18: The NWFP government is striving to improve the performance of service delivery sectors, including health and education, according to NWFP Chief Secretary Ejaz Ahmed Qureshi. He was chairing a meeting with World Bank officials here on Monday. The bank officials praised the NWFP government for creating a specialised financial information system and said the bank was a partner in reforming all social sectors. Mr Qureshi claimed that the government was alive to good governance issues.—APP
