SHIKARPUR, Dec 11: Two people were killed by their rivals near Agha Farm, some 5km from Garhi Yasin, on Monday. Mehar Ali Marfani, 25, and his relative Mohammad Ibrahim Marfani, 65, were killed when armed Brohi men hiding in bushes near Garhi Yasin-Bhambhan link road ambushed their donkey cart.

The motive behind the murders is said to be tribal dispute between the Marfanis and the Brohis. According to sources, the Marfanis attacked village Qadir Bux Brohi with rocket launchers and Klashnikov rifles after the incident.—BoC
