JACOBABAD, Nov 20: Armed bandits killed two brothers and seriously injured two other people, including a woman, in Karampur on Monday. Report reaching here said that the brothers, Azizullah Mirani and Haji Khan Mirani, were killed while Dost Mohammad and Ms Zadi suffered serious wounds when eight armed robbers opened fire on them after barging into their house.
Police moved the bodies and the injured to hospital and chased the robbers with the help of sniffer dogs but could not trace them.
LOOTED: Armed bandits robbed the passengers of five coaches and 10 trucks of cash, jewellery and other valuable items at Ghulam Mohammad Larho near Ghouspur in the wee hours of Monday.
Report reaching here said that 25 armed bandits signalled the coaches and trucks to stop and deprived the passengers of whatever they had before making good their escape.
Angered, the passengers blocked the road in protest and started chanting slogans against police.
They, however, dispersed peacefully after police assured them that the bandits would be brought to justice.
