5 killed in separate incidents

ISLAMABAD, Nov 18: Five persons, including two women, were killed in different incidents while the local police found two bodies from different places on Saturday, police said.

In the first incident, Farzana Bibi, 35, suffered multiple injuries after being hit by a speeding vehicle while she was crossing a road at Soan. She was taken to a nearby hospital where she was pronounced dead.

In the second incident, Uzma Pal, 30, a nurse by profession, received critical injuries when she was hit by a vehicle while crossing a road at Golra. She was shifted to a hospital where she died.

In the third incident, a cyclist suffered multiple injuries after he was hit by a vehicle on I.J. Principal Road. The man was shifted to Holy Family Hospital where he died. Later the body of the deceased was shifted to Pims for legal process. The man seems to be an Afghan.

In another incident, Syed Fida Hussain Shah, a resident of Dhoke Darzian, died when he fell into an empty oil tanker while he was cleaning it at PSO depot.

In another incident, Majeed was electrocuted while welding at Beverly Centre.—Staff Reporter
