KARACHI, Nov 18: Seven ships carrying cement, containers and to load molasses are expected to arrive at the outer anchorage on Sunday, according to KPT sources.
Berthing activity at the wharves active where half a dozen vessels were berthed to unload and load containers. They are: Kuo Change, Gallant Wave and Soon Fu, with containers, Afea to offload fertiliser, Sea Lion, to unload high-speed diesel and Rising Moon, to load lube oil.
Six ships, Eric G. Gibson, Guido, Salam-4, Johar, Southern Unicorn and Arun Kheterpal Pvc departed on Saturday, while Kuo Chang, Gallant Wave, Mega-1, Orient Independence, Induruwa Valley and Soon Fu are due to sail out on Sunday.
Cargo handling activity at the wharves was active where a total tonnage of 85,638 tons comprising 2,564 tons of export cargo and 83,074 tons of import tonnage was handled.
The following ships are due during the next two days: Iran Kordestan, Wan Hai-206, China Star, with containers, Freedom Age, with 1,700 vehicles, Zheng Xing, to unload cement and H. Marhrosyan to load molasses.
