ISLAMABAD, Nov 3: A meeting of heads of component parties of the Alliance for Restoration of Democracy will be held next week to discuss the situation arising in the country after the air strike on a Bajaur madressah in which 82 people were killed. This was said by Pakistan Muslim League-N chairman Raja Zafarul Haq after his meeting with People’s Party Parliamentarians president Makhdoom Amin Fahim here on Friday.

Talking to Dawn, Mr Haq said the ARD condemned the Bajaur incident and considered it the most tragic and barbaric act, which amounted to extra-judicial killing of civilians.

They said the ARD meeting would also discuss the future strategy in the light of Oct 19 meeting between former prime ministers Benazir Bhutto and Nawaz Sharif in London.

He said they also discussed the strategy for the forthcoming National Assembly session and decided to raise the Bajaur incident issue with full force inside and outside parliament.

He said a date for the meeting would be announced in a couple of days and most probably it would be held in Islamabad because most of ARD office-bearers and members would be in the capital for the NA session.
