Fog spray

LAHORE, Oct 31: Eleven mobile teams of the City District Government Lahore on Tuesday fog-sprayed 18 localities as a preventive measure against dengue virus. The CDGL plans to complete spray in all sensitive city areas within the next three days, says a press release.

The localities which were sprayed on Tuesday included Rehmanpura, Township, Model Town, Gulshan-i-Ravi, Old Anarkali, The Mall, Assembly Hall, Food Street, Abbot Road, Davis Road, Ravi Road, Sheranwala, Urdu Bazaar, Fort Road, Bhati and Taxali gates.

DCO Muhammad Ijaz has directed officials to take action against shopkeepers who were overcharging for medicines and coils related to dengue virus.
