LAHORE, Feb 12: The Jamaat-i-Islami will observe Friday as protest day against the arrest of Qazi Husain Ahmad.

Acting JI amir Syed Munawwar Husain said here on Tuesday that Qazi had completed 100 days of confinement. His only crime was raising voice against dictatorship, he said.

After Friday prayers, he said, party workers would hold peaceful demonstrations throughout the country.
