Ian Fyfe trophy for TCC

KARACHI, Sept 12: Tapal CC (TCC) won the inaugural Ian Fyfe Memorial Twenty20 cricket tournament by whipping Muhammad Hussain CC (MHCC) by 56 runs in the final at KGA Ground.

All-rounder Hanif-ur-Rehman played a key role in his team's triumph, scoring a fine 38 and taking two wickets.

TCC, batting first, made 155 for sixs. Iqbal Shaikh (38), Hanif-ur-Rehman (36) and Ahmed Zeeshan Malik (31) were their main run-getters.

Mohammad Ali Madni took four for 21.MHCC, in reply, were restricted to 99 for nine with Adeel Malik taking three for 11, Shakeeb two for 14 and Hanif two for 16.

Jonathan Rogers was declared the tournament’s best batsman, Kamran Umar the best bowler and Fahad Jabbar the best all-rounder.—APP
