LONDON, Feb 12: The man accused of training the suicide hijackers, who crashed into the twin towers of World Trade Centre on Sep 11, was granted bail here on Tuesday.

An Algerian pilot Lotfi Raissi, 27, had been arrested after the Sep 11 attacks, and on Monday he emerged from the top security Belmarsh Magistrates Court Complex in southeast London.

Mr Raissi was released on 10,000-sterling-pound bail, ordered to surrender his passport, and told not to apply for international travel documents.
