KARACHI, Aug 21: Adviser to the Chief Minister on Livestock and Fisheries Fakir Mohammed Jadim Mangrio has expressed his full support to the proposal of developing of an International Safari Park in Shah Belo forests.
Creation of such a park would not only attract local but also foreign tourists and this would result in an increased earning of foreign exchange, he said in a statement issued here on Monday.
The adviser said the proposal was mooted by Home Minister Rauf Siddiqui at a cabinet meeting and was fully supported and endorsed by the chief minister.
He said the Sindh government would extend its all cooperation in this regard and welcome foreign investment in the project.
He said the park, to be developed on 150-acre of land, would help create job opportunities for local people.—APP
