CHAKWAL, Aug 20: The body of a 22-year-old man who drowned in the Walana dam, some 30km from here, was recovered after 20 hours.

Irfan Ali, who had come to the Balkaser village from Karachi to meet his in-laws along with his wife, went to the dam for recreation. The divers from Mangla dam fished out the body after hectic efforts.

Kallar Kahar police after having a post-mortem at the district headquarters hospital handed over the body to the relatives.—Correspondent
