HYDERABAD, Feb 11: The vice president Pakistan Peoples Party, Sindh, Qazi Asad Abid has held out a promise that all the youths who were given jobs by the PPP but were later retrenched by the coming governments will be provided jobs and the female teachers whose services had been terminated will be reinstated in service.

He was addressing a public meeting at Latifabad here late Sunday evening where a large number of people announced to join the PPP. The public meeting was organised by Kamran Khanzada, who along with 72 other youths joined the PPP.

Qazi Asad Abid said that by joining the PPP, the Urdu-speaking youth had added a new chapter in the history of Hyderabad. He said this will augur well for the development of this historic city.

Speaking on the occasion, the city president of the party, Mr Pervez Ansari said that PPP was the only party which believed in the service of all the people regardless of caste, colour, creed or religion.

He said the doors of PPP will remain open for all the people of Pakistan. He said the PPP will be further strengthened as a large number of Urdu-speaking youth had embraced the party.

Others who spoke on the occasion included Zahid Bhurgari, Zaheer Ghumman, and Mir Fateh Ali Talpur.
