Speaking at the rally, organized by the Labour Party, they demanded that the envoys of the US and the UK be sent back to their countries. They were critical of the indifferent attitude the UN, European Union and the OIC and said they were just furthering the US policies.
They said thousands of Lebanese had been killed in Israeli bombardment while over a million people have left their homes and migrated to neighbouring countries. They criticized the rulers who were watching genocide silently.
They said real reason for this aggression was that Israelis did not accept the people’s mandate given to the Hamas. They said the US after supporting Israel in the UN, has now used threatening language against Iran and Syria and it was being feared that these two brotherly Muslim countries might also be dragged into the conflict.
