SARGODHA: An e-library has been formally inaugurated at the Sports Complex under the Youth Affairs Programme of the Punjab government.

In the opening ceremony on Friday, Regional Sports Officer Rana Nadeem Amjad, District Sports Officer Saima Manzoor, Vice Chairman of the International Human Rights Movement Chaudhry Zafar Gondal, Deputy General Secretary Tariq Minhas and others termed the establishment of the e-library as a positive step for the youth.

This will facilitate students in accessing modern educational resources and promote the trend of studying, they said.

The speakers said through the e-library, students would get direct access to modern educational facilities and it would also have a coordinated connection with the Higher Education Commission (HEC).

They said that the students visiting the library would be given access to online educational resources and digital learning platforms.

They announced that efforts would be made to provide facilities like laptops and free internet to the deserving and needy students so that no student remained deprived of education due to lack of resources. According to them, this project would play an important role in adapting the youth to the requirements of the modern era and promoting digital education.
