LUCKNOW, June 24: Four people were killed and three injured when two rival groups opened fire at each other on Saturday outside a court in Lucknow, capital of Uttar Pradesh.
The four died on the spot when the rival groups — affiliated to the ruling regional Samajwadi Party and the opposition Rashtriya Janata Dal — fired at each other.
Tension erupted when supporters of rival contractors working for different government departments, accidentally came upon each other outside the court premises.—AFP
