KHANEWAL, June 13: Three dacoits killed a motorcyclist on resistance in the jurisdiction of Jahanian police on Monday night. Shamshad Ali, his brother Ghulam Mustafa and wife Nusrat Bibi were going on their motorbike to visit relatives when they were waylaid by three armed men at Kharkan bridge.

The bandits tried to snatch their new unregistered motorbike, but Shamshad Ali offered resistance and was shot dead by the accused, who sped away on the two-wheeler. A case has been registered. —APP
