DIG quizzed in Valley scandal

SRINAGAR, June 8: Indian federal investigators questioned on Thursday a senior officer for his alleged involvement in a prostitution ring in occupied Kashmir, police said.

The paramilitary deputy inspector-general surrendered to the Central Bureau of Investigation on Wednesday after a warrant was issued for him. The officer has been remanded in custody for four days in Srinagar, a police officer said.—AFP
