HYDERABAD, June 2: EDO Health Dr Nazar Muhammad Junejo under directives of the district nazim formed taluka food vigilance committees to take action against retailers selling rotten and unhygienic eatables including fruits and vegetables to prevent an outbreak of gastroenteritis in the district.

Each taluka committee comprising concerned officers of health, food, revenue and police would be headed by DDO revenue and pay surprise visits to markets.
