GUJRANWALA, Feb 7: The election of union council No 62 Nazim and Naib Nazim was declared void on Thursday.

Nazim of union council No 62 People’s Colony, Sheikh M. Siddiq, could not produce his original matric certificate before the returning officer.

Meanwhile, the election commission issued polling schedule according to which nomination papers will be received from Feb 13 to 15. Papers can be withdrawn till March 4, and polling will be held on March 16.
