BEIRUT, May 12: Kuwait’s revaluation of its dinar is aimed at maintaining economic and monetary stability, Finance Minister Badr al-Humaidhi said on Friday.

We’re concerned with maintaining economic, price and monetary stability, Humaidhi told the Arab Economic Forum in Beirut. Some noticed that yesterday there was a change in the exchange rate of the dinar against the dollar, this comes of course with our desire to maintain stability. It is very important to maintain monetary stability so that we can protect investment, he said.—AFP
