PESHAWAR, April 21: The Pakistan Academy of Letters held the launching ceremony of a book of poems by Saqiba Rahimuddin at Khana-i-Farhang Iran on Friday. The function was presided over by prominent poet Prof Khatir Ghaznavi, while Ikramullah Shahid, former deputy speaker of the NWFP Assembly, was the chief guest. Writers Yousaf Raja Chishti, Prof Nazeer Tabassum, Syed Wali Khayal Mohmand, Masood Islami, Prof Nasir Ali Syed and Shaheen Jamil praised the contribution of the author. Saqiba Rahimuddin recited selected poems from her book.—APP
