Literacy centres planned

LAKKI MARWAT, March 20: Sector director of Literacy For All project, Bannu/Lakki Marwat chapter, Saleem Khan Marwat, has said that the government is using available resources to achieve 100 per cent literacy rate.

He was talking to members of the Lakki Marwat-I and II union councils and notables of Mela Mandrakhel village here.

District Khateeb Maulana Abdul Wahab was present on the occasion.

Mr Khan said that the government would open more literacy centres under the LFA project in the Lakki Marwat district. “Recruitment of teachers for these centres will be made on the basis of merit,” he added.
