MUMBAI, March 18: Rahul Dravid will remain as India’s captain until next year’s World Cup in the West Indies, national selectors announced on Saturday. Dravid, 33, has led his team to one-day series victories against Sri Lanka at home and in Pakistan since taking over from Saurav Ganguly last year. His side also drew 2-2 against South Africa at home last year.
Dravid also led his team in two three-Test series, beating Sri Lanka 2-0 at home last year before losing 1-0 in Pakistan in January and February.—AFP
