KARACHI, March 2: The City School Darakshan campus and CAS School earned full points by chalking up second consecutive victories in the Inter-school basketball tournament at Jinnah University campus, Korangi, Wednesday.

The City School Darakshan conjured up 49-28 win over Ghulamane Abbas School after leading 28-18 at breather.

Raja Jehanzeb stole the limelight for winners with 23 points. He was ably assisted by Maaz Sultan who scored 16 points.

Faisal Raza scored all the 28 points for the losers after penetrating into the opponent’s defence time and again.

In the other encounter, CAS School notched up a comfortable 47-29 win over The City School, PECHS campus. The winners led 19-17 at half time. However, it was after interval that they enhanced their lead.

Hammad Aftab again emerged as top scorer with 19 points. Umer Mansoor (12) and Zeeshan Salim (8) were main scorers for the losing side.

The competition is being played on single league and top two teams will qualify for the final.
