HYDERABAD, Jan 29: The director general, Sindh Ombudsman, Mrs Mahtab Akbar Rashidi, has asked the female teachers to play their due role in the improvement of environment by creating awareness among the people.

She was speaking as chief guest at the inaugural session of a three-day workshop on the topic of Environmental Orientation and Education, organized by the University of Sindh, Jamshoro, in collaboration with IUCN, Pakistan, and the British Council, Karachi, here on Monday.

Thirty teachers from Syed Panah Ali Shah Model School are attending the workshop.
