KARACHI, Jan 29: A ten-day course on Information Technology use in schools and colleges, held under the auspices of Karachi University’s Department of Library and Information Science, concluded on Tuesday.

The Dean, Faculty of Arts, Prof Abu Zar Wajidi, highlighted the role of librarians towards the dissemination of knowledge.

The chairperson of the department, Dr Nasim Fatima, said with technical equipment such courses could be organized that would contribute towards usage of modern technology.

Certificates were distributed among the participants of the course.—APP
