RAWALPINDI, Jan 28: About 1,239 development schemes are being undertaken in Rawalpindi, Attock, Chakwal and Jehlum districts under Khushhal Pakistan Programme during the current fiscal year.

Over Rs499 million are being spent on these projects which were earlier approved by the district development committees (DDCs), an official handout issued here on Monday said after a meeting of Nazims and district administrations with the Punjab chief secretary.— Staff Reporter
