LAHORE, Jan 26: The second round of the Pakistan Palladium Prize poetry contest is being organized at Alhamra Hall on Monday under the aegis of the British Council.
The first round took place in schools throughout Pakistan. The second round, being held at Karachi, Lahore, Islamabad, Pes-hawar, Multan and Quetta, will be completed within the month.
Three second round winners from each centre will then compete in the final round to be held in Lahore in March.
In the second round competition in Lahore, students from 20 schools will recite their poems.
Sponsors for the second round competition in Lahore include the University of Middlesex, the Alhamra Arts Council and the Oxford University Press. — APP
