KOHAT, Oct 24: The president of a paramedics association, who was sacked on the charge of issuing fake medical certificates, has described the terminatation as a revenge action for taking part in election campaigns of the rival of MPA Kalb-i-Hassan.
The district health officer terminated Qambar Ali, president of a class-IV employee paramedics association, after an inquiry found he was involved in issuing bogus medical certificates.
However, no doctor was punished for signing the certificates for Qambar Ali who worked as a ward orderly in the KDA medical complex.
Speaking at a press conference here on Monday, Qambar Ali accused Kalb-i-Hassan for playing a key role in his termination.
He said there was a cold war between him and the EDO health who had taken advantage of the situation and got him dismissed from the service.
Mr Ali termed an anonymous letter written against him by the paramedics association fake and showed another letter signed by all the office-bearers in his favour.
