Money changer robbed of Rs8m

MULTAN, Oct 20: Four armed dacoits on Thursday looted around Rs8 million in cash from a money exchange at Mian Channu. Police official Yousaf said Mushtaq and Rasheed, employees of Waheed Traders, received minor injuries when they tried to offer resistance.

He said that dacoits, in a bid to flee hurriedly, left some cash behind, but did not specify how much.

He said that bandits had snatched two motorcycles which they used in the criminal activity. Before fleeing, he said they left behind one motorcycle which was taken into custody. Police teams were busy chasing the bandits.

A case has been registered against the outlaws.—APP
