George Clement held in visa ‘fraud’

FAISALABAD, Jan 19: Former state minister George Clement was arrested by a special team of the Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) in a visa fraud here on Saturday.

Clement and his close relative, Rehan Gull, a travel agent, allegedly got Rs 700,000 from Abdul Rauf for sending him abroad.

When they failed to fulfil their commitment, Rauf moved FIA which booked the accused under the Immigration Act.

The former minister was arrested from his residence whereas Gull was still at large.
