KARACHI, Sept 7: Four ships, including CSL Asia carrying 40,000 tons of sugar, are expected to arrive at the outer anchorage on Thursday, according to KPT sources. Berthing activity at the wharves was relatively slow where three vessels, APL Jeddah, United Prosperity and Eax Sanctity, to unload and load containers were berthed after the departure of four.

The ships, which departed included Pu He, Hanjin Busan, Captain Ahdam and Shalamar, while United Prosperity, APL Jeddah, Cenco Wisdom and Panagani are due to sail out on Thursday.

Cargo handling activity at the wharves was fairly active where a total tonnage of 0.104m tons comprising 8,461 tons of export cargo and 95,549 tons of import tonnage was handled.

The following ships are due on Thursday: Scotia, APL Orchid, with containers, Wisdom-C, with steel cargo, and CSL Asia, with 40,000 tons of sugar.
