KARACHI, Sept 1: Seven vessels carrying coal and triple super phosphate are due to arrive at the outer anchorage on Friday, according to KPT sources. Berthing activity at the wharves was modest where four ships, Hyundai Future, Y.M. Star, Kota Teraju and Kuo Hung, to unload and load containers, were berthed after the departure of seven.

The ships, which departed included Thor Captain, APL Cairo, Hyundai Future, Bunga Teasek, Swat, Durab Queen, Song Shi Hai, while Arihant, Y.M. Star, Elbe Oldendroff, Golden Express, Kuo Hung, and Kand Fu are due to sail out on Friday.

A total tonnage of 58,494 tons comprising 15,314 tons of export cargo and 43,180 tons of import tonnage was handled on Thursday.

The following ships are due on Friday: Irika, with 19,715 tons of coal, Great Chance, 27,100 tons of phosphate, Golden Express, Corn Thaikos, Iran Jahanara, Sagamore, Manila Bay Wan Hai-262 and Pon Mahe, with containers.
