KARACHI, Aug 20: A Russian diplomat was feared drowned on Saturday off the Sandspit beach. Officials in the fire brigade emergency rescue centre said Russian diplomat Vissile, 43, his wife, son and friends had gone to a hut at Italy point in the afternoon. Mr Vissile was swept away when he was swimming in the sea. Fire brigade chief Kazim Ali said rescue workers were searching for the body as there was little chance of the victim’s survival.
